After more than a decade of steady growth — from pioneering independent medical practice in China to expanding across continents — Dr. Smile Medical Group is once again focusing its vision on China’s Hong Kong.

Following its successful expansions in New York and Addis Ababa, the establishment of the Asian Headquarters in Hong Kong marks another milestone in the Group’s global development — a key step in building a truly international CHIVA network.

Over the past ten years, Dr. Smile Medical Group has evolved from a team of independent practitioners into an integrated medical organization operating five self-owned CHIVA Vein Centers in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Jinan.
Through more than 20,000 CHIVA procedures, the team has continuously refined its diagnostic and treatment processes, establishing a patient-centered medical system guided by hemodynamic principles — one that has earned the trust and recognition of both peers and patients alike.

In recent years, the Group’s global expansion has accelerated.
In 2024, it established the first overseas CHIVA Center in Ethiopia, introducing a gentle and scientifically grounded “venous preservation” therapy to local patients.
In 2025, it founded a Medical Service Organization (MSO) in New York, allowing CHIVA’s philosophy to be implemented and validated within a highly standardized healthcare framework.

These experiences — from Africa’s genuine trust to America’s precision standards — have deepened the Group’s understanding of how CHIVA can adapt to diverse healthcare environments. Now, in Hong Kong, these insights will converge and extend further, fueling new momentum for regional medical exchange and collaboration.

Hong Kong was chosen as the site of Dr. Smile Medical Group’s Asian Headquarters because of its unique combination of international vision and regional influence.
This city embodies the openness of modern medicine while preserving the humanistic essence of Eastern medical traditions.

In the future, the Asian Venous Academy will also be established under the Headquarters.
The Academy will not only focus on CHIVA techniques, but also encompass hemodynamic assessment, AI applications in medicine, and physician leadership and management training.
Through education and exchange, it aims to return to the essence of medicine — supporting doctors’ growth while advancing their social impact and professional value.

With preparations for the Hong Kong Headquarters now well underway, Dr. Smile Medical Group looks forward to bringing together a community of like-minded physicians dedicated to promoting the natural restoration of venous flow, respecting both scientific logic and patient dignity.

For patients, this means more opportunities to access vein-preserving, gentle CHIVA treatment.
Here, the exchange of ideas, the transmission of values, and the warmth of medicine will continue to drive the future of venous care — together, toward a more open and shared world.
